“You’re terrible! You gave me $300 credit, I’m going to sue your company and get you fired. You’re a loser, you should not be Customer Service. You’re rude, disrespectful and condescending” Screamed Bart with his strong New York accent. I felt I could hear the Twilight Zone music. I knew I had to react and do something because it seemed he was definitely crazy! Yet I realized I was living in a different reality and had to make sense of this Vs argue with what seemed like insanity. I had just spent 3hr trying to understand why Bart had set up three Investigations for a $300 missing payment which he told me he had never paid? But I knew he was right. By telling him the facts I sounded rude, disrespectful and condescending to his truth. Bart quipped “So you’re blaming me now!” I asserted “No, I’ve listened to the call and heard you say “I set up a $300 payment on our website, but it’s not showing there, I want you to find out where it’s gone!” He started to weep a bit and said “Yes I’m getting old, maybe I need to get my daughter to do my banking for me. I’m sorry I said those things about you.”
